US AIRCRAFTS land at Kumamoto to deliver aid after earthquake!

Authorities said at least 42 people had died and nearly 1,100 were injured in the two quakes that hit the region near Kumamoto city late Thursday and early Sunday.

Two US Marine MV-22 Osprey aircraft landed at Japan Ground Self Defence Force Vice-Camp Takayubaru, Mashiki on Monday to pick up aid which will be delivered to remote areas in Minamiaso, which have been cut off by landslides and road and bridge damage.
The US has major Air Force, Navy and Marine bases in Japan, and stations about 50,000 troops in the country.
